Of Man and Of Nature

Of Man and Of Nature
“empires rise, then grow tired, collapses, falls
Laws, religion, rights, rule, boom, freedom or what.
The world’s going down.
Darkness shrawls in the decay, destructions,
Wars, plague, famine, vices choke good,
Honest strivers drained as idlers luxuriate—
                                These are chaos cyclones. “
Climate change is a major issue that envelopes the earth; an issue that confronts humanity in the 21st century and an issue that undoubtedly affects our country being an archipelago in the biggest ocean of our earth- SICK MOTHER EARTH. At this point in time, saving our mother earth is mostly relevant that the human race continuously suffer from calamities, disaster and disease of epidemic scale resulting form global environmental destruction.
The dramatic rise in the world’s temperature, the sea level rise and coastal flooding, abnormal weather patterns- usually warm weather, heat waves, ocean warming, devastating typhoons and tornados, heavy snowfalls in many parts of the world, increase ranges o pests and disease vectors and loss of the diversity are the life threatening result of climate change. Scary isn’t it?
It is about time that we, youth, should rally for the protection from further destruction to save the future-our-generation form the wrath of nature.
The 29th century saw a rise in global air temperature by 0.6%. The prediction relating to climate shifts in the 21st century are wide-ranging with estimates landing anywhere between an increase of 1.4 to 5.8°c in annual global mean surface and temperature. The consequences of climate change could vary anywhere from troublesome to devastating. Even taking into consideration the least drastic change prediction, it is a certainty that the impact of global warming will be felt by every living specie on the planet.
We now live in a world that continuously battles environmental degradation. The alarming climate change has brought fear and enormous concern to most of us and many should respond in their special way to maintain the balance that will preserve the sustainability of the earth.
Choose to act rather than despair and give up. Use the power of human creativity and courage to face the seemingly battle of the earth brought by modern living.

“ there is love, peace, understanding…
No wars, broken homes, crises, vices…
                                No dearth, terror, plague, famine..
All reforms, rebuilds, improves, yes meek, fruitful..
If we truly care for humanity and nature. “

Hindi ko alam kung mapapanood kita. Wala talaga akong pera ngayon. Pero isa lang masasabi ko, magpapakamatay ako kapag hindi kita nakita!

Be Near Me

Be near me when my light is low,
When the blood creeps, and the nerves prick
And tingle; and the heart is sick,
And all the wheels of Being slow.

Be near me when the sensuous frame
Is rack’d with pangs that conquer trust;
And Time, a maniac scattering dust,
And Life, a Fury slinging flame.

Be near me when my faith is dry,
And men the flies of latter spring,
That lay their eggs, and sting and sing
And weave their petty cells and die.

Be near me when I fade away,
To point the term of human strife,
And on the low dark verge of life
The twilight of eternal day.

Secret Love

Song of Secret Love
By John Clare

I hid my love when young while I
Couldn't bear the buzzing of a fly
I hid my love to my despite
Till I could not bear to look at light
I dare not gaze upon her face
But left her memory in each place
Where ere I saw a wild flower lie
I kissed and bade my love goodbye

I met her in the greenest dells
Where dew drops pearl the wood bluebells
The lost breeze kissed her bright blue eye
The bee kissed and went singing by
A sunbeam found a passage there
A gold chain round her neck so fair
As secret as the wild bee's song
She lay there all the summer long

I hid my love in field and town
Till e'en the breeze would knock me down
The bees seemed singing ballads l'er
The fly's buss turned a Lion's roar
And even silence found a tongue
To haunt me all the summer long
The riddle nature could not prove
Was nothing else but secret love

If the World Ends Tomorrow

If the world will end tomorrow,
There’s nothing much that I would do.
Should I let other people know
And let them see the earth in different view?

If the world will end tomorrow,
I’ll let my soul free from barbarity.
Maybe it’s time for the acuity to go
Show them that I, too, could live in amity.

If the world will end tomorrow,
I will sing of love and of life.
That by morning is the end of human strife,
And everything is a day of memory and sighs.

If the world will end tomorrow,
I would be the star for a night.
I’ll be dancing, leading in the front row,
Doing things I’ve never done, as putting up a fight.

If the world will end tomorrow,
I’ll pray for every living soul on earth.
May God above take away all their sorrows
And guide are those who suffer from their birth.

Cause the world ends tomorrow,
I know that His light will shine upon and glow.
And for humanity, cursed are those in below,
For I know that nobody would ever believe a poet’s woe.

Because the world ends tomorrow.
